Israel Rollins

Venture Partner

Israel Rollins is a Venture Partner of the Blue Venture Fund where he supports the fund’s investment activities. Prior to Sandbox, Israel served as founder and Managing Principal of Bethesda Capital Partners, LLC and as acting-CEO and President of the Board of Directors of its portfolio company, Nuline Sensor, LLC, a medical device manufacturer, until its merger with InvisionHeart, LLC.Prior to Bethesda, Israel co-founded PharmMD LLC (acquired by Riverside Partners, LLC), a population health management company.

Prior to that, Israel was a senior consultant with Mercer Health & Benefits Consulting’s National Managed Pharmacy Practice and Government Human Services Consulting. Israel also served as Pharmacy Manager at Vanderbilt Healthcare/Walgreens Home Infusion and Speciality Pharmacy. Prior to that, Israel worked as a Pharmacoeconomist and Outcomes Research Specialist at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. Prior to that, Israel served in a number of roles with HCA (NYSE:HCA) including Associate Administrator and Ethics and Compliance Officer, North Austin Medical Center, Director, Internet Strategy & Business Development, and Investor Analyst, Investor Relations.

Israel holds a BS in Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences from Florida A&M University, an MBA with a concentration in Health Services Administration from Howard University, and an MPA from Harvard Kennedy School. He served as an Administrative Fellow, Office of the President, the American Hospital Association. Israel is also a Kauffman Fellow.
